Laser techniques

Laser techniques are highly varied. Unlike light emitted by the sun or an incandescent bulb, which is polychromatic (made up of several wavelengths), the light produced by a laser is monochromatic.

Depending on the wavelengths used (CO2, Er-Yag, Nd-yag, Ruby, Alexandrite), their fluence (power measured in Joules per cm2 ) and pulse duration (shorter or longer pulse), they can treat all kinds of problems, such as pigmentation spots, vascular lesions, scars and unsightly hair. Certain laser techniques can also be used to treat fine lines, smooth skin tone and restore tension to the integuments of the face and neck.

How are lasers used?

Our team has tested a type of laser that takes advantage of the acoustic waves triggered by the laser to stimulate the fibroblast. The effect is modest, but clear. They have recently been used in pre-, intra- and post-operative cosmetic surgery to improve the final scar.
